Redeyed has published a new defensive architecture for organizations facing direct-to-origin attacks, proxy abuse, automated request floods, and services marketed as “CDN bypass.”
The research explains a layered mitigation model spanning the Laravel application, Redeyed Shield, and Sentinel. It covers authenticated origin access, strict proxy trust, request-risk signals, rate controls, and operational indicators that help defenders recognize suspicious source addresses without treating a single signal as proof of abuse.
The implementation is designed to preserve legitimate traffic while making origin discovery and direct attacks substantially harder. It also introduces visible risk badges for authorized operators so that suspicious behavior can be investigated consistently.
